Although this idea isn’t original, I made a magnetic spice rack.
Update: DON’T do this. It looks cute, but the reality is that the tops will inevitably loosen and spill things everywhere.

Terrarium
Thursday, April 5th, 2007We made a terrarium out of a 6-gallon glass bottle. It looks nice.
Sewing Table
Thursday, April 5th, 2007I built a sewing table for the wife, out of some iron pipe and plywood.
The construction was fairly straightforward, but I forgot to account for the size of the flanges. So the table legs take sort of a trapezoidal footprint.
