Here are some pictures of my neighborhood taken with my modified IR camera.
They have a strangely surreal quality to them.
I finally attempted the now-well-known camera modification that involves replacing the IR filter in a digital camera with a piece of developed film — blocking visible light. It’s an interesting use for an otherwise obsolete camera.
I made a swing chair for my porch out of a Scandinavian recliner (that I’d picked up secondhand), some 3/4″ EMT conduit, 2 hose clamps, and about 20 feet of rope.
The rest is just knots.
