Plants make everything look better
I decided to mix a rock garden, desert garden, seashells, and incense together in an old bonsai dish. I think it came out pretty well.
The plants here are hens and chicks (or Sempervivum, for those of you who keep score) which I got from a sandy patch near a lake. The rocks and shells came from hermit island in maine, and the dish came from the thrift store.
I put this together in march of 2004; the hens have since been repotted, and the dish now holds a collection of cacti. Now I need to find another place to put those moon snail shells.
