Masked Hunter Nymphs Are Insects In Ghillie Suits

I don’t often see these masked hunter young (Reduvius personatus), probably because they go to great length to camouflage themselves.

This one isn’t more than about 1/3 of an inch long.

The bits of fluff stuck to it make it look like a 6-legged teddy bear.

…or like a strip of fried chicken.
